Privacy policy

Who this applies to

This is a personal professional site. It is not a consumer product account, shop, or community platform. If you only browse the public pages, little personal data is collected. If you book an intro call or email me, I process the details you send so I can respond and meet with you.

Information I collect

When you book an intro call, the form collects your name, email address, timezone, chosen time, and optional company name and notes. A hidden honeypot field is used only to catch automated spam; it is not meant for people to fill in.

The booking API also sees your IP address (from standard request headers) so it can apply a short rate limit and reduce abuse. Hosting logs on AWS Amplify may include IP address, user agent, and the pages or API routes requested.

Theme preference (light, dark, or system) is stored in your browser under the key le-theme. That value stays on your device and is not sent to me as a profile.

• Booking details: name, email, timezone, slot, optional company and notes
• Technical: IP address and request metadata for rate limiting and hosting logs
• Local only: theme preference in browser storage

How I use it

Booking data is used to check calendar availability, create a Google Calendar event with a Google Meet link, invite you and me to that event, and send confirmation emails. I use it to prepare for the call and to follow up if needed.

I do not sell your information. I do not use booking details to run advertising, and this site does not include a marketing newsletter signup.

Processors and where data goes

The site is hosted on AWS Amplify. Calendar availability, events, and Meet links are created with Google Calendar using my connected Google account. That Google access is limited to my calendar: reading free/busy times and creating events with Google Meet. Visitors are not asked to sign in with Google, and this site does not access anyone else’s Google account. Confirmation emails are sent with Resend. Google also emails a calendar invite when the event is created.

Those providers process data on my behalf in the regions they operate. If you are outside those regions, your information is transferred so the booking can be completed.

Retention

Calendar events and related emails are kept as long as they are useful for scheduling and professional records, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of running my inbox and calendar. Hosting and rate-limit records are short-lived operational data, not a CRM.

This site does not create a user account. There is no self-serve dashboard to edit a booking profile. Email me if you need a time changed, cancelled, or details removed from the calendar event.

Your choices

You can decline to book and contact me only by email instead. To access, correct, or delete booking information I hold, email ekeikennalawrence@gmail.com. I may need enough detail to find the event (for example your name, email, and the call time).

You can also remove the calendar invite on your side and clear this site’s data from your browser (including the theme setting).

Children

This site is aimed at professional contacts. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children for bookings.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, I will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to later visits and bookings.
